TV Nova will introduce several new programmes in the autumn broadcast. The autumn programming scheme was presented at Wednesday’s press conference. A new season of Kriminálka Anděl, the series Táta v nesnázích and the reality docu-series Ztracená rodina are among the new releases. The anticipated reality show BigBrother will be broadcast on the Voyo video platform and on one of the TV group’s themed channels.
KEY NEW SHOWS
- Kriminálka Anděl – the series returns to TV Nova screens with the premiere episodes of the fifth season after nine years. The main roles will once again be played by David Švehlík, Marek Taclík, Michal Novotný and Helena Dvořáková, who will be joined by Oskar Hes and Jiří Langmajer. The director is Peter Bebjak and it will air on Monday night.
- Táta v nesnázích – a comedy series starring Martin Pechlát, to be broadcast on Nova on Fridays. A 16-part family series about the relationship between a father and his three daughters is produced for Nova by Paprika Studios.
- Ztracená rodina – an emotional docu-reality show about the reunion of separated family members. The programme will be presented by publicist Mirek Vaňura and Tereza Pergnerová. It will be broadcast on Thursday evening.
TV NOVA’S POPULAR SHOWS WILL CONTINUE WITH THE NEW SERIES
- Thursday’s series Zlatá labuť, whose first season was offered by Nova in the first half of this year, continues. On average, it was watched by almost 800,000 viewers over 15 years of age (a share of 20% in the 15-54 viewer group).
- In Tuesday’s first slot, the series Jedna rodina will reappear. It had a 22% share in the 15-54 viewer group in the spring.
- Monday’s second primetime slot will show the reruns of Specialisté. The spring ninth season of the series was watched by an average of 1.18 million viewers over the age of 15 and scored a 29% share in TV Nova’s 15-54 viewer group.
- New episodes will also be offered by the cooking reality show MasterChef Czech Republic. Unlike last autumn, it will be broadcast only once a week, on Wednesdays at 8:20 p.m. Last year’s autumn series was seen by an average of nearly 700,000 viewers (15+), with a 26% share of viewership in the 15-54 viewer group.
- It will once again be followed by the cooking show Souboj na talíři, which was seen by over 450,000 viewers (15+) last autumn with a 25% share in the 15-54 target group.
- Saturday nights continue to offer Na lovu: Hvězdný speciál (spring Superlov’s share was 30% in 15-54). On the same day, Nova will schedule the series Co ste hasiči.
- Ulice, the longest-running series on Czech screens, will take its traditional early evening time slot (32% share in the 15-54 target group in the spring).
- In the late afternoon broadcast, Ulice is preceded by Na lovu. This autumn will be no exception (the show’s spring series reached a 28% share in 15-54).
“The common denominator of the new season is the focus on local topics, family entertainment and predominantly the expectations of our viewers,”
described Silvia Majeská, TV Nova’s Program Director.
On Voyo, new releases include another series of the reality show Love Island, new episodes of Ordinace v růžové zahradě, the stand-up show Ondřej Sokol: Celebrity, the miniseries Matematika zločinu or the crime series Extraktoři in addition to the reality show BigBrother, which is returning after 18 years.
