The approaching spring holidays will bring four days off, which directly encourages spending time with loved ones and friends. Watching a series or movie together on TV is one of the most popular activities families spend their days off doing, according to recent research. Here are some tips from the Easter programming on czech commercial TVs that can add to the festive cheer.

TV Nova's Easter programme will offer family films, comedies and fairy tales

The Easter programme of TV Nova will offer a lot of family films and comedies for the whole family, as well as fairy tales especially for children. The main airtime on Good Friday will be taken over by the comedy Přání k narozeninám (Wish for a Birthday) starring Eva Holubová and Jaroslav Dušek. On White Saturday, viewers will exercise their knowledge with the entertainment and knowledge Superlov, where five hunters will face competitors playing for up to a million crowns.



TV Nova is celebrating its 30th birthday this year and has prepared a present for its viewers on Sunday. It will present Iveta, the first episode of the series about singer Iveta Bartosova, which has so far been available only on Voyo.

The programme for Easter Monday will also be marked by fairy tales. Children can look forward to Stuart Little Mouse, Rumburak or French animated films with Asterix. Easter will also be celebrated by the well-known heroes of the daily series Ulice, which will not be absent on Friday or Monday.

TV Prima will delight every viewer at Easter

Not only on Good Friday and Easter Monday, but for the entire four days of the holiday, the Prima Group has prepared a varied TV programme for its viewers, from which everyone can choose. You can look forward to a variety of Czech films, fairy tales, premieres and a good portion of entertainment from abroad.

The relaxed programme on Good Friday will be marked by popular foreign films on the Prima channel screens - at 9.00 a.m. the comedy Stůj nebo maminky vystřelí will start, followed by The Pink Panther and after lunch Ben Stiller will spend the Night at the Museum. Of course, there will be no shortage of Czech classics. The fairytale atmosphere will first be evoked in the afternoon by the courageous woodcutter Nebojsa, and in the evening the devils will be in the spotlight in Zdeněk Troška's newer Czech fairytale Čertoviny.



On Saturday, 30 March, it is worth seeing, for example, the Czech detective comedy Rozpuštěný a vypuštěný at 2.50 p.m., followed at 4.50 p.m. Saturday evening on Prima will be dedicated to barbecue and the second round of the big family competition reality show Česko na grilu. Which of the ten couples will not advance?



The spectacular barbecue is followed by the continuation of the popular České chaty snů. On Saturday, lovers of darker crime cases will be fully satisfied with the premiere of the 4th season of the successful series Purpurové řeky on Prima KRIMI. On Prima COOL on Saturday you can indulge yourself in the stunningly suspenseful submarine drama Kursk.

On Sunday evening it is definitely worth watching another episode of the brilliantly cast series Vytoč mého agenta from 20.15 on Prima. This time, the comedy drama from the environment of an acting agency is dominated by Tatyana Medvecká and Zlata Adamovská, who play themselves in it!

Easter Monday promises a festive programme on Prima's screens as well, starting at 8.25 with the family comedy Monsters from the Attic. This will be followed by the film comedy The Pink Panther 2. At noon, Vlasta Burian as Přednosta stanice will be introduced and once again there will be a fairy tale, this time O princezně Jasněnce a létajícím ševci.

The premiere of the new series Lež na pláži is scheduled for Monday evening. The plot takes you to Croatian beaches, where a trio of young men are hiding from a mafia boss. The main roles will be played by Rozálie Prachařová, Radek Melša, Josefína Prachařová and Sandra Nováková.
