The Radio and Television Broadcasting Council has granted the application of FTV Prima and granted it a license for another terrestrial and IPTV channel.

Television group Prima has been granted a licence to broadcast a new channel Prima Case. It will focus on drama productions of non-European origin. The Radio and Television Broadcasting Council, which granted the licence, said today. The licence entitles Prima to broadcast the new channel for 12 years, via terrestrial terrestrial transmitters and internet. The station is to broadcast a minimum of 18 hours a day in the Czech language.

Prima Group CEO Marek Singer previously stated that Prima would introduce the new channel during the autumn. In addition to expanding its offer on the Czech market, it is also focusing on the Slovak market, where it plans to launch the Prima Love SK station in early November.

The Prima Group operates full-screen TV broadcasts of Prima, CNN Prima News, Prima Cool, Prima Zoom, Prima Max, Prima Love, Prima Krimi, Prima Star and Prima Show in the Czech Republic. In addition, the group owns websites such as iPrima.cz and the video portal Prima+. Prima is majority-owned by billionaire Ivan Zach's financial group GES Group.
