JAN ČADEK IS THE NEW COMMERCIAL DIRECTOR OF THE PRIMA GROUP

The Prima Group has selected a successor for the post of commercial director from its ranks. From the beginning of the new year, Jan Čadek, the current head of online and radio Media Club, will take over from Vladimír Pořízek.

The winner of the Prima Group's tender for a new commercial director (CCO) is Jan Čadek, the current head of the online division and commercial director of the radio division of the Media Club, which belongs to the Prima Group. He will take up his position from 1 January 2025. He will take over from Vladimir Pořík, who decided to make a life change and is leaving Prima by mutual agreement.

"With Honza comes to the management of the Media Club, above all, a huge experience from different media types, the track record of a very successful commercial director. And above all, a wave of energy that will help us briskly complete the transformation of Prima Group into the world of total video," said Prima Group CEO Marek Singer.

Vladimir Pořízek spent fifteen years at Prima (since 2007), during which he jumped to the management of the Omnicom Media Group buying association for a year and a half. During the time he headed the group's business, Prima's revenues roughly doubled to CZK 4.2 billion last year. It is not yet known where his next steps will be. According to his statement, he wants to take a longer break and perhaps head into the financial sphere.

"I would like to thank Láďa for his fifteen years at Prima. We have been through a lot together, we have built the Prima group from one TV station to the biggest multimedia house in the Czech Republic, which is #1 in TV and radio and #3 in online. Media Club has become so successful thanks to its leadership. I wish him all the best for the next stage of his career," said Prima Marek Singer.

Jan Čadek has been in the media environment for more than twenty years. He started his career as director of Kiss radio in the then Radio Investments network, where he also worked as manager of new development projects. After the acquisition of six radios by the GES group and their unification under the Radio United Services brand, he was its commercial director. He remained at the head of the commercial radio team after 2018, when the commercial side of radio moved under the wing of the Media Club media agency.

The management of the radio business division of Media Club is being taken over from Jan Čadek by Martin Kašpárek, the current head of the South Bohemian business team.

Martin Kašpárek has been part of the Media Club team for almost ten years and currently holds the role of regional sales team leader for the radio division for South Bohemia. Previously, he held the same position within the Ledmultimedia project and also gained his experience as a regional sales manager at Watersavers and MediaCall.

As the new commercial director, Jan Čadek, like Vladimír Pořízek, will be responsible for the three business divisions of Media Club - television, radio and online, and will focus on the strategic development of the Prima Group.
