IT WILL TAKE THREE MONTHS TO TRANSFER ALL O2 TV CUSTOMERS TO ONEPLAY
11. 3. 202511. 3. 2025The transfer of all approximately 870,000 O2 TV customers to the new Oneplay service will take about three months. The operator will transfer customers to the new service, which was created by merging with the streaming video platform Novy Voyo, gradually. O2 spokeswoman Veronika Zachariášová told ČTK.
However, all customers can now log in to Oneplay via mobile phones or smart TVs. They can use the same login details as for O2 TV.
"O2 customers will have access to both platforms until the actual switchover date. They will know the exact date when their services will be transferred a month in advance - we will send them an e-mail or a letter clearly stating everything, and we will also send them an SMS to make sure they don't miss this communication," added Zachariášová.
In addition to the date of the switch, customers will also get a specific tariff plan and price. If the chosen tariff plan does not suit them, they can change it at any time after the transfer. If, on the other hand, customers do not want to wait longer for the date, they can contact the operator via the My O2 website or at any O2 Store and they will be transferred on a priority basis.
For some users, the switch will mean a higher price, but an extension of the offer. Voyo subscribers have today had their user profile automatically transferred to Oneplay. Similarly, all current O2 customers have gained access to Oneplay with Voyo services.
Both O2 and Nova are owned by investment group PPF. Voyo is used by almost one million people in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
