Dušan Švalek took up the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO) at CME Media Services (CME), which includes the domestic commercial television group Nova, since 1st of April 2022. He is in charge of CME's transformation strategy, focusing on building a business-to-consumer model. He will also work closely with the digital team to ensure CME's overall growth. The position of COO is a newly created position in the CME structure.

Prior to joining CME, Švalek held senior positions as Chief Country Officer at Slovak Telekom and before that he led marketing and consumer activities for Deutsche Telekom in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
CME's Chief Executive Officer for the Czech, Slovak, Slovenian and Romanian markets is Didier Stoessel. CME is also active in the Bulgarian market, where its activities are led by Lubos Jetmar. Recently, CME's owner, PPF Group, also bought the television stations from RTL, the RTL Croatia channel group. This acquisition is expected to close in the first half of this year.
