In particular, reruns of original series form the main focus of this year's summer programming at the three most watched domestic TV stations. The summer programming schedules get off to a full start from 1 July.
TV Nova is basing its July prime-time shows on reruns of its series Specialisté, Policie Modrava, Odznak Vysočina or Dáma a král. It will complement these with its other shows such as Výměna manželek and Malé lásky or film titles.
In the first month of the holiday season, rival Prima will rely mainly on the series Polda, Vinaři, Malý pitaval z velkého města, to which it will add Czech film comedies, the premiere competition Kdo se ptá? or Indiana Jones movies.
Czech Television has chosen a spectrum of its original drama programmes and series (Svět pod hlavou, Neviditelní, Doktor Martin 2, Detektivky podle Proškové, Most!, Škoda lásky), foreign series (Komisařka Florence, Angličanka), Czech films and fairy tales, reruns of Všechnopárty and the stories of Vinnetou for its evening broadcasts in the first holiday month.
