Marketing & Media will be in Portorož, Slovenia, again this year from 9-10 October as a media partner of the festival and will bring you the highlights of the event in a special edition. What can you look forward to in the programme?

Katie Sterling from WARC will be the first to perform as part of the festival's Golden Drum specialist programme. Her presentation will focus on the power of creativity and consistency in communication. She will seek to answer the question of why marketing leaders dream big but often fall short of achieving them. In a "masterclass" he will show how to achieve success by staying true to strategy while maintaining a fresh approach.
The morning program will continue with a keynote address by Pum Lefebure, co-founder and creative director of Design Army and president of the Craft Drum festival jury. She will focus on the power of designers to connect, communicate and inspire action. She will reveal how every creative endeavor, from small projects to large campaigns, can leave a lasting impact on a community. They will share their experiences of how creative initiatives can garner support for local arts programs, challenge cultural norms, and open the way for positive change wherever you are from.

This will be followed by a presentation entitled "Embracing Diversity in Eastern Europe". Guy Wieynk, Global Executive Director of AnalogFolk Group and President of the One-channel Drum Jury, will call for continued efforts to promote inclusivity and its representation in the work. He will also introduce the production platform Untold Fable (in which AFG has invested), which has made a significant contribution to these efforts. Her talk will highlight the potential of openness in the creative process for social and environmental impact.

"Unimaginable cultural solutions: the collaboration of technology and creativity" is the title of the presentation by Kentaro Kimura, International Creative Director and CEO of Hakuhodo Japan and founder of Hakuhodo Kettle, who is also President of the Omni-channel Jury.

He will point out that the challenges facing our clients and society in recent years have become more difficult and complex. Conventional 'one size fits all' style ideas no longer work. So where do we find solutions that are beyond imagination? According to Kimura, these are found in the depths of local communities. She will talk about three important social problems of our time and present a series of case studies.

The morning program will conclude with Janet Levine, Global Director of Innovation at Mindshare and President of the Creative Media Excellence Jury. In her talk "Media Utopia" she will explore the future of media and marketing through the prism of different utopian countries. He will delve into the challenges facing the industry and try to find sustainable solutions.

The afternoon program will feature six other speakers. Among others, Jay Richards, CEO of Imagen Insights from the UK, or Aidis Dalikas, head of "creative performance" at Aleph Group and co-founder of The C School from Lithuania.
