As of Monday, September 2, 2024, CNN Prima News has launched a special broadcast on CNN Prima News for the county council and Senate third elections. It will feature debates between the candidates for the county seats as well as three major superdebates with the heads of political parties and movements. Throughout September, each weekday will feature each of the 13 regions in a special edition of News from the Regions. It will also include an election studio as the votes are counted, including predictions of the results from Stem.
In the 13 special editions of News from the Regions, moderator Markéta Fialová and regional reporters will present each region of the Czech Republic in turn.
CNN Prima News will broadcast a debate with the candidates for regional governors every weekday from 9 to 16 September. The premieres of the debates, hosted by Markéta Fialová, can be watched at 14:30 and the replays at 20:00.
The participants in the debates of the candidates for governor have been selected from political groups that were successful in the region and had representatives in the regional councils in the last elections. The selection took into account changes in the composition of coalitions and possible changes in the names of candidates in individual regions.
The election week will be followed by three super-debates of the heads of the strongest political parties and movements running in the upcoming elections. The moderators will be Terezie Tománková and Petr Suchoň in front of the audience.

The participants in the debates of the heads of political parties were selected from political parties and movements that have a national representation and are running candidates for the elections to the regional councils and the Senate across the country. According to Prima, the division into three debates corresponds to the representation of opinions in society, as indicated by the averaged results of the current pre-election polls for the Chamber of Deputies elections, so that an equal number of ruling and opposition political parties are represented in each debate.
On Saturday 21 September, the special will begin with a special edition of Nový den. A team of regional reporters will cover the regional elections in the morning special from 9:00am. At 11:55 a.m., host Terezie Tománková will interview guests from the ranks of politicians and experts, and Petr Suchoň will add data and analysis on the Magic Wall. Petr Převrátil will follow the results of the regional elections and present predictions of the results from Stem. Political reporter and moderator Jan Socha will bring you the battles for Senate seats and a probe into what's happening on social media. After Hlavní zprávy, a special edition of 360° with Pavlína Wolfová will offer further analysis and commentary.
On Sunday, there will be a special post-election Nový den, where viewers will learn interesting facts from the election staffs, at 11:00 a.m. a special post-election Partie Terezie Tománkové with winners and losers and at 9:00 p.m. again a special 360° with Pavlína Wolfová.
