The award for Best Feature Film went to The Waves at the 32nd Czech Lion. The period drama by Jiří Mádl and producer Monika Kristl recalls the events of 1968, when Czechoslovakia began to be occupied by Warsaw Pact troops as part of the "brotherly aid". Waves was also awarded in the categories of best director, best screenplay, best actress and actor in a supporting role (Tatiana Pauhofová, Stanislav Majer) and best sound.
In the best miniseries or series category, the winner was Voyo Original, recalling the work of crime writer Jiří Markovič Method Markovič: Hojer. The latter also took the award for best actor in a leading role (Petr Lněnička) and in a supporting role in a serial (Petr Uhlík).
