LESS THAN A MONTH LEFT FOR GOLDEN DRUM ENTRIES

The 30th annual creative competition is now open for entries. The winners will be presented on 10 October in Portorož.

Creative and media agencies, producers, commissioners or even marketing communications experts can now submit entries to the Golden Drum creative competition that were launched between 22 August 2023 and 21 August this year. The deadline for receiving entries is also set for August 21.

Submitted projects will be evaluated by a jury of 56 experts from 30 countries. From the Czech Republic, they include Petra Jankovičová, co-founder and CEO of Triad Prague and President of the Association of Communication Agencies, and Tereza Báčová, Director of Strategy and New Business at Mediaplus Prague.

Entries can be submitted from 42 countries in categories divided into six groups: the One-Channel Drum, the Omni-Channel Drum, the Craft Drum, the Creative Media Excellence Drum, the Creative Business Excellence Drum and the special All Juries Selection. For this 30th anniversary year, the Business Creative Excellence section has expanded to include B2B-related categories - B2B Brand Re:Fresh, B2B Storytelling and more.

Young creatives under 30 years of age can also apply for the Young Drummers competition, which is run in cooperation with the Slovenian Tourism Board. This year, the contestants will work on the theme "You can't spell Slovenia without love and that is why you must love it".

The deadline for entries is 9 September. The winner will receive one thousand euros and a delegate ticket to the 20th Golden Drum Festival. Entries will also be given to all creatives who make it to the shortlist.

Golden Drum has also already unveiled the first speakers from the two-day festival conference. They include Adam Kerj, Accenture Song's chief creative officer for Europe, Pum Lefebure, co-founder and chief creative officer of Design Army, and Janet Levine, global head of innovation at Mindshare.
