MEDIA CLUB INCREASED GROSS PROFIT TO CZK 818 MILLION LAST YEAR

Media Club saw steady demand from clients last year compared to 2020, when there was a change in consumer behaviour due to covide.

Media Club's made a pre-tax profit of $818 million for 2021. Total net sales from all traded media types amounted to CZK 5.2 billion.

In its official announcement, the company said that Media Club's TV advertising business continued to be dominated by advertising sales on Prima Group channels, whose share of viewership in the strategic target group of 15-69 year olds grew, and as a result, the volume of GRPs handled also increased. Gross revenues from the sale of TV advertising in 2021 reached almost CZK 4.2 billion. Media Club achieved a share of 34.42% in the target group 15-69 years, which was the highest result.

Gross revenues from radio advertising sales reached CZK 819 million. CZK 819 million. In online, the demand for sales of video advertising, banners and programmatic advertising increased and doubled. For the sale of online services, Media Club had gross revenues of CZK 180 million. CZK 180.

The company noted that last year saw stable demand from clients compared to 2020, when consumer behaviour was changing due to anti-video measures.

Media Club represents the Prima Group's TV channels, Barrandov, Óčko and other thematic stations on the advertising market. On the radio market, it sells advertising for all full-screen commercial radios (Impuls, Evropa 2, Frekvence 1) and also provides advertising for radios that are linked to TV Prima (e.g. Kiss, Country, Beat, Radio 1 and others). On the internet market, its strongest media is iPrima.cz.
