TV Prima will launch new series Kamarádi and Hrdina later this autumn. The prima+ video platform will also feature a sequel to the No Regrets series and a new Surrogates miniseries.
The first episode of the family series Kamarádi will air on Prima on Tuesday 22 October. It will replace previous stalwart ZOO on the air and will air twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 20:15. Prima has so far prepared 16 episodes. It will tell the story of three friends returning to their home village to try to revive community life there. The three friends will be played by David Gránský, Anastasia Trmal Chocholatá and Jan Komínek.
The 16-part detective series Hrdina will begin airing on Prima from Wednesday 23 October, with the creators of Polda behind the production. Lieutenant Hrdina, played by Jan Nedbal, is an "atypical cop" with a great deal of humanity, but who is difficult to work with. This brings him into conflict with the prosecutor, played by Kristýna Boková.
In Saturday's prime-time Prima will also broadcast the premieres of Czech films such as Jedeme na teambuilding, Matka v trapu, Nikdy neříkej nikdy, Zatmění, Jedna noc or Gump - jsme dvojka.
In Monday's prime time, Malý pitaval z velkého města will be replaced by a rerun of Poslední oběť from the big city.
The prima+ streaming platform will offer a sequel to its Bez lítosti 2 format, which chronicles the stories of lifers. In the dramedy miniseries, titled Náhradníci, director Alice Nellis will outline the journey to parenthood. Jana Plodková and Kryštof Hádek will play the lead roles. prima+ will include the news in the run-up to Christmas from 13 December.

Banáni, previously offered on prima+, is also heading to TV screens, as well as Cool Taxi, Prima Partička and Partička Nová krev (launching on Monday 30 September).
