The fairy tale Three Nuts for Cinderella with Libuša Šafránková will be broadcast this Christmas Eve at 20:20 on TV Nova. In addition to the Czechoslovak classic, it will also offer its fresh Norwegian remake, Three Wishes for Cinderella, on 20 December. Christmas Eve's Ulice is also on the cards, and the Advent season will also be reflected in the broadcast of Breakfast with Nova. On the last day of the year, Nova will traditionally present the New Year's Eve edition of Televizni noviny or the Your Face Has a Famous Voice - The Big New Year's Eve Case.
In addition to the above, during the Christmas and New Year holidays, the television will offer other Czech film classics and foreign films. Christmas-themed programmes will also appear in the offer of thematic stations.
The Advent offer of the Voyo video platform will include, among others, the expected miniseries King of Sumava: Phantom of the Dark Land by director David Ondříček.
"A selection of the most popular Czech comedies and films from the golden fund of Czech or Czechoslovak cinema, together with traditional Christmas-themed acquisitions - these are the basic pillars of the Nova Group's programming schedule for this Christmas,"
commented Silvia Majeská, Programme Director of TV Nova.
