Digital Broadcast, the operator of DVB-T2 multiplex 24, has launched a 10 kW transmission from the Usti nad Labem - Kukla site. The signal will cover up to one million inhabitants.

The most important customer of the TV multiplex is the media group Nova, which in addition to its flagship channel also distributes thematic clones Nova Action, Nova Fun, Nova Gold and Nova Lady. According to the Czech Telecommunications Office's online database, the transmitter on channel 21 has a coordinated power of 10 kW and operates with horizontal polarisation. The DAB+ multiplex of Teleko digital can also be tuned in on channel 6D from this North Bohemian location.

"With the launch of multiplex 24 TV and radio programmes from the Ústí nad Labem - Kukla location on channel 21, we are continuing to improve coverage, this time in the Ústí nad Labem region, and we will continue to do so by gradually launching other locations. The launch of the Kukla site is of great importance for the robustness of the coverage of multiplex 24 and can improve TV signal reception for up to one million viewers," said Jakub Juhas, CEO of Digital Broadcasting.
