OLYMPIC FESTIVAL BEGINS, LURES FANS FOR DOZENS OF SPORTS

Along with the start of the Summer Olympics, the Olympic Festival starts at Lake Most, where individual sports and partners are presented.

On Friday, 26 July, the Summer Olympic Games in Paris will kick off, and at Lake Most it will be possible to watch the Olympic action at the replica of the Eiffel Tower as part of the Olympic Festival, where visitors can try over fifty sports.

There will be a wide range of disciplines to try out - from athletics to cycling to billiards and paddleboarding. Some of the sports are also sponsored by partners - for example, ČEZ is teaming up with canoeing, Samsung with swimming, Alpine Pro with archery and FuzeTea brands from Coca-Cola's portfolio with orienteering. It will be possible to try out the sport, take part in training or watch various exhibitions. Children can make their visit more interesting by collecting stamps for the Playing Card for various tasks completed. Visitors can also cheer on the Czech athletes in Paris or even meet selected Olympians. The partners have also prepared another accompanying programme to accompany the sports activities.

CEZ Group, one of the general partners of the Czech Olympic Team, is the sponsor of canoeing at Lake Most. At the place where people will be able to try this discipline, it will also be possible to rent paddleboards. There is also a ČEZ Energy zone in the spirit of water sports with competitions, quizzes, a chillout zone and an offer of promotional items. There will also be ReakTour, a virtual tour of nuclear power plants, and WaterTour, which takes visitors to the Dlouhé stráně pumped storage plant in the heart of the Jeseníky Mountains.

Another general partner of the Czech Olympic Team - the Japanese car company Toyota - is a partner of the skatepark, where visitors can take a skate lesson or watch a Max Habance demonstration. For children, there are competitions on balance boards and skate design drawing. There will be cars on display and some of the sports brand ambassadors will be there as guests.

Alpine Pro, the brand behind the much-discussed successor collection, will have an Olympic merch store and a relaxation zone in addition to an archery range at Lake Most.

Billa is partnering with padel, a sport between tennis and squash, at the Olympic Festival. In addition, it will prepare healthy snacks for children and volunteers worth almost two million crowns. Visitors will then be able to taste dishes made from its products in the catering zone at the Olympic Camp.

T-Mobile, the official partner of the Czech Olympic Team, will offer a pumptrack zone in cooperation with the Czech Cycling Association, where visitors will be able to try out this discipline. The activation will also include the opportunity to recycle an old mobile phone and a competition for a new T Phone and other prizes.

Visa, which counts itself among the international Olympic partners, is teaming up with parkour. As part of its zone, it will provide lessons in the discipline for children from the orphanage, and there will also be a performance by parkour player Michal Pokorny. There will also be competitions and interactive challenges for prizes. Visitors who pay for admission to the Olympic Festival on site using a Visa card will receive a 10% discount. There will also be a donation kiosk where you can take an Olympic selfie to support the Olympic Foundation. In addition, donors will be recognized with a special visual presentation on the main stage.

Another international Olympic partner, Coca-Cola, will have a special experiential zone for its Vitaminwater brand at Lake Most, featuring interactive equipment and seating with music. Sampling will also take place. The Fuze Tea brand is again teaming up with the sports venue for an orienteering event. In addition, the Powerade brand is teaming up with the Olympians' Lifehacks show, which reveals each Olympian's approach to training, diet and the actual preparation for a game or race.

Samsung is also supporting swimming at the Olympic Festival as a global partner of the Olympics. At Lake Most, the brand has set up an experience zone where visitors will be able to try out the new Galaxy AI features for themselves and compete for the latest Galaxy Z Flip6 foldable phone. For children, there will be a Kids' Corner where creative souls can try out the AI Drawing feature. They can print out a picture on the spot to take away as a souvenir.

The partner of the athletics venue is the Orlen brand. On the sprint track with a timer, participants will be able to try training under the guidance of coaches from various sports clubs, or even with Olympic medalist and Olympic Festival ambassador Barbora Špotáková. There will also be a chill-out zone or it will be possible to take on the role of athletes in the Orlen Vervaboy, consisting of five activities - Efecta challenge, Stop Cafe hotdogging, Verva hit, Stop Cafe shootout and Orlen high jump. In addition, the Orlen Foundation is planning a popular science show that will introduce chemistry as a modern, attractive discipline with practical applications. A meeting with the players of the HC Verva Litvínov hockey club is also planned.
