New episodes of Ano, šéfe! will return to Prima TV screens. The main face will be Zdeněk Pohlreich again.
After six years, Prima Television will return to the airwaves with new episodes of Ano, šéfe! (Yes, Chef!). In a spot featuring Zdenek Pohlreich, it has invited restaurant operators to sign up for the show.
The main face of Ano, šéfe! is chef Zdenek Pohlreich, who corrects the shortcomings of restaurants. The last time the show aired was in 2018, at which time Prima TV announced that it had granted Zdenek Pohlreich's wish in "best to stop".
Prima first filmed the successful gastronomic show Yes, Chef!, based on the British novel Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares, in 2008 and offered it to viewers a year later. The last series aired in 2018, after which it was replaced by Ano, šéfe! starring Jitka Pagan. The latter aired for only one season.
Ano, šéfe! became one of Prima's most-watched shows during its run. In its first year of broadcasting, it achieved a viewership share of almost 25% in the second prime-time window among viewers over 15 years of age (source: ATO-Nielsen). In the last year of broadcasting, it recorded roughly half that share.
