PRIMA AND SKYLINK AGREE TO EXTEND DISTRIBUTION CONTRACT
26. 2. 202526. 2. 2025TV Prima and pay-TV operator Skylink have agreed to extend the distribution contract. Viewers of this satellite television and streaming platform will continue to have access to all nine Prima TV channels in the Czech Republic and four in Slovakia. The companies said in a press release. They have been without a contract since the beginning of this year.
"Our goal has always been and will always be satisfied viewers. We are pleased that we have agreed with Skylink on new terms of cooperation, retroactive to the beginning of the year. Viewers can continue to watch their favourite Prima Group programmes on Skylink platforms," said Marek Singer, CEO of the Prima Group.
According to Ladislav Řeháček, Skylink's vice-president for the Czech Republic and Slovakia, the operator strives to offer the best content at an affordable price. The concluded contract ensures subscribers access to Prima channels for years to come, he added.
Skylink offers viewers in the Czech Republic the Prima Group's Prima, CNN Prima News, Prima Cool, Prima Max, Prima Krimi, Prima Love, Prima Zoom, Prima Show and Prima Star channels, and in Slovakia the Prima SK, CNN Prima News, Prima Cool SK and Prima Love SK channels.
Skylink is one of the largest providers of satellite and internet television in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. It claims to have more than 1.5 million customers with more than 140 TV channels to choose from.
