Young men's TV station Prima Cool will adjust its programming schedule from April. It will add another sitcom and reserve Saturday nights for family films.
Prima Cool will celebrate sixteen years of broadcasting on 1 April. On the same day, it will include a twenty-year-old American series called Jmenuju se Earl in its afternoon programme. Each day it will broadcast two episodes, always at 16.55 and 17.25.
After the end of Jmenuju se Earl, the station will include new episodes of Griffinovi. Starting April 16, Prima Cool will offer the premiere episodes of the travelogue Fotr na tripu. New episodes of Prima Partička and Prima Partička XXL are in the pipeline. There will also be premiere episodes of the English show Grand Tour for car enthusiasts.
New to the long-term programming concept will be Saturday family films. On the first weekend in April it will be Madagascar 3, on the other ones Doba ledová, Doba ledová: Mamutí drcnutí a Doba ledová 4: Země v pohybu.
"In the target group of men aged 15 to 39, we've achieved a 5.27% sharrow in all-day viewing over the past year. Among the most successful titles in terms of viewership were cult film franchises such as Predátor, Rambo, Kurýr and Jurský park, which we aired this February," said Prima's Alex Ruzek, programme director.
Viewers were also interested in the travelogue Fotr na tripu, Partička, Mikýřova "hysteria" of Czech history or Simpsonovi.
