PRIMA CREATES ITS OWN CREATIVE DIVISION, REPLACES STUDIO DEPARTMENT

The creation of an in-house creative division within the Prima Group's marketing team is expected to bring financial and time savings and reflect the transformation of the formerly television group into a comprehensive media house. The cooperation with Studio Department is coming to an end.

The Prima Group is creating its own in-house creative team as of 1 April, replacing its previous long-term cooperation with audiovisual studio Department. The move is aimed at streamlining the communication and promotion of the more than 50 TV, radio, online and commercial brands that make up the Prima Group's portfolio, according to Prima. The new creative division will be integrated into the marketing and PR team, which has been led by Aleš Pýcha for twelve years.

"I would like to thank Michal Pacin and the entire creative studio Department for the long and successful cooperation with the Prima Group. We decided to create a creative division internally, in the marketing team, following the example of foreign media houses. This change will not only bring financial and time savings, but also reflects the transformation of the former Prima TV group into a comprehensive media house. Our long-term strategy is total video, creating targeted video content that we distribute on a wide range of platforms to diverse target audiences, and thanks to our in-house creative team we will strengthen our audiovisual content," says Marek Singer, CEO of Prima Group.

In the new creative division, Prima Group will, among other things, now work directly with some of the professionals from the Department who are behind the overall visual identity of Prima Group's shows and channels, the development of creative campaigns, the production of selfies and the shooting of IDs. The creative division of the marketing and PR team will be headed by Aleš Pýcha. Pavel Brázda, who worked as a senior idea maker and copywriter in the Department, will be responsible for creative solutions. Graphics, motion design and post-production will be managed by Jaroslav Drtina, formerly head of art directors and motion designers. The operational running of the creative team will be handled by Jaroslav Štefek, who joins from Nova Television. In addition to the existing agenda, the new division will also focus on the creation of integrated campaigns, including short videos for online and social media.

"We are responding to the growing number of brands within the Prima Group and the increased demands associated with social media communication. Combining our creative and communications teams will allow us to plan campaigns flexibly, but most importantly, to produce them more efficiently, which we will also support by gradually incorporating artificial intelligence," said Aleš Pýcha, marketing director of the Prima Group.
