After two years of existence, the video platform prima+ reaches 350,000 real users per month and shows 97 million hours of viewing and 233 million views. Its offer has been used by 1.4 million real users. Prima made the announcement at its annual press conference on Wednesday.
The main attraction of Prima+ is original productions titles, the most recent of which include the reality show Zrádci, the series Kamarádi or ZOO, and the Sedm schodů k moci is also among the top shows. A total of nineteen premium programmes were presented by prima+. For this year, it announced its intention to expand premium content. The plan is for up to eleven "premium" hours per week for paying viewers.
Prima+ news for 2025
- Reality show StarHouse featuring influencers. Launching on 3 March, prima+ subscribers and Vodafone TV clients will be able to interact with the stream and follow the action in the villa 24/7.
- From 14 March, a new eight-part crime series Případ tanečnice about the investigation into the murder of a young dancer will be on offer. Starring Stanislav Majer, Josef Polášek or Jana Krausová.
- In the first half of this year, the series will offer O lidech a koních. Marek Lambora, Darja Pavlovičová and Michael Dlouhý have been cast in the lead roles.
- The second half of the year will bring the four-part crime series Noční operatér with Lukáš Vaculík in the title role.
- A new series of the detective reality show Zrádci is also coming, again hosted by Vojtěch Kotek.
- The range of TV previews in the first half of this year will be expanded by prima+ with a new series Jakub and Sara with Jakub Prachař and Sara Sandeva.
- The second series of Hrdina and Hořký svět will also be added.
- The previews also include Kamarádi and the daytime series ZOO nové začátky, as well as the shows Inkognito and Prostřeno!.
- From the film premieres, March will bring Světýlka, Výjimečný stav and the short film Krajan, which won a student Oscar late last year.
- In the true crime genre, the current new release is the documentary Minuty zločinu, which offers new perspectives on crimes that have shaken Czech society. Also on offer is České vraždy, which once a month brings an authentic look at murder cases whose perpetrators lived seemingly ordinary lives.
