RRTV has granted the Prima Group a licence for the terrestrial and internet broadcasting of the Prima Port programme.
Television group Prima has been granted a broadcasting licence for its new channel called Prima Port. The award of the licence was announced by the Radio and Television Broadcasting Council (RRTV). The licence was granted for both terrestrial and internet broadcasting. The Prima Port channel is to focus on dramatic works of mainly non-European origin. It will broadcast in Czech for at least 18 hours a day.
In addition, the RRTV extended Prima Zoom's licence for another 12 years for terrestrial and satellite broadcasting.
In addition to Prima Port, the Prima TV group is also preparing the launch of a new channel Prima Case. It is to be launched next year with a range of detective content.
