The 30-minute programme will focus on the most important topics of the past week from home and around the world. It also wants to open up new cases.
Prima TV is coming up with a Sunday journalism show called Souvislosti. It will be broadcast from Sunday, April 27 after 22:00. The presenter of the show is Markéta Fialová. The 30-minute magazine will bring a summary of the most important topics of the past week. It will be broadcast once a week, always on Sunday evening.
The topics of the week will be selected by the editors of CNN Prima News. The magazine also plans to feature investigative topics or surprising revelations.
"Connections is a programme that we simply had to make for Czech viewers after the incomprehensible clearing of the field by public competitors. Markéta Fialová is not only a great presenter, but also a journalist with great insight, who in Souvislosty manages to link individual topics in an engaging way so that the viewer can find his or her way around them," said Martin Švehlák, director of news and journalism at CNN Prima News. He adds that Prima has already prepared several big cases, which it will present to viewers in Souvislosty in the coming weeks.
Context will be offered by the main channel TV Prima on Sundays after 22:00, its reprise will be brought on Monday at 14:20 on CNN Prima News.
Prima wants the new show to fill the space left by rival show 168 hodin, which Czech Television broadcast on its main channel until last fall. In its current schedule, CT1 airs Výborná show in its second prime-time window. The competing TV Nova broadcasts the journalistic programme Střepiny on Sundays in the late prime-time from 23:00.
