In the week of 26 August, the commercial TV channels Prima and Nova will present some of their news for the autumn season. For example, the new series of Kriminálka Anděl, the reality show Honeymoon or the series ZOO and Jedna rodina will return.

In the week of 26 August, the biggest domestic TV stations will start deploying their premiere shows for this autumn season. In the last week of August, the premieres of the main commercial rivals, Nova and Prima, will hit the screens. Czech Television will start its autumn broadcasts from Sunday 1 September.

The opening episode of the sixth series of Kriminálka Anděl starts on Monday 26 August on TV Nova. A look at Monday's prime-time shows that the main competitors are opting for the crime genre for Monday. Prima will follow up the summer and plans to counter Kriminálka Anděl in the autumn with the series Malý pitaval z velkého města. ČT1, which has so far left Monday's primetime window without a premiere, will repeat its successful series Případy 1. oddělení And TV Prima' s premiere episode will introduce TV viewers to the reality show Honeymoon – Líbánky k nepřežití. It will be broadcast daily (Monday to Thursday) in late prime-time.

The Tuesday (and Thursday) duel between the main competing channels will be similar to the spring season between the series ZOO (Prima) and Jedna rodina ( Nova). The spring clash went for the former in the wider over-15 group, while Jedna rodina was more successful in the younger 15-54 group. Both series return to screens from Tuesday 27 August. It can be expected that viewers' favour will be mainly shared by the aforementioned commercial TV channels these days. ČT1 is repeating the series Četnické humoresky on Tuesday and the Swedish series Černá voda on Thursday.

Wednesday's prime time brings some change. Instead of the reality show MasterChef Czech Republic, Nova will offer viewers from Wednesday 28 August a new gastronomic reality show Hell′s Kitchen, in which professionals compete and their work is judged by Radek Kašpárek. The newcomer in the field of reality shows will have to cope with the second series of the detective series Dvojka na zabití ( also starts on 28 August), whose first series brought TV Prima above-average results. And it will also have to face the HBO series Pustina, which ČT1 is including for the first time.

Friday nights on TV Prima in September will be marked by a new series of the reality show Česko Slovensko má talent. The twelfth series of the competition starts on 30 August. The competitor Nova, meanwhile, is betting on Czech comedy films at this time, but for Friday night it plans to come up with a series called "Tančírna" in the autumn.

From Saturday, August 31, two new shows will be presented. The entertainment programme Možné je všechno (hosted by Pavel Zedníček) will be offered by Nova. It is based on the success of this entertainment show with the participation of celebrities in Slovakia, where it is already broadcast by its sister TV Markíza. Prima is keeping its Saturday autumn evenings in the detective genre and starting from that date it will start broadcasting the second series of the series Duch. ČT1 is building its Saturday entertainment on the show Zázraky přírody, and from mid-October it will bring out its main card - a new series of the dance competition StarDance.

A new series of the miniseries Docent will premiere on Sunday 1 September on CT1. After its end in mid-September, the airtime will be filled with a rerun of the series Devadesátky. Until CT1 finds a replacement for 168 Hours, viewers will see a rerun of Strážník Topinka in this slot. Nova isn't changing what works for it on Sundays throughout the holiday season, and is still relying on reruns of Police Modrava in September (later in the second prime-time window for a rerun of Kriminálka Anděl). Prima, meanwhile, continues on Sundays with the Czech comedies it co-produced. For Sunday nights, however, it has prepared a new reality game, Zrádci, hosted by Vojtěch Kotek. The date of its deployment is not yet known.
