THE PRESIDENTIAL BROADCAST REACHED MILLIONS OF PEOPLE ON CZECH TELEVISION
15. 1. 202315. 1. 2023The broadcast on the results of the first round of the presidential elections reached just under 4 million viewers over 15 years of age on all TV channels that carried it during Saturday 14 January 2023 (reach indicator: 3.7 million viewers). The result includes both morning and afternoon programmes, specifically Presidential Elections (CT24), Journey to the Castle (TV Nova) and Looking for the President (CNN Prima News). This is shown by the official ATO-Nielsen Admosphere audience measurement data.
On Saturday, the station CT24 became the most watched station in the country in the universal audience group over 15 years old. It achieved a share of 15.90%. It was followed by CT1 with a share of 14.03% and TV Nova with 12.60%.
The afternoon broadcast of the Presidential Election programme, broadcast on CT24 from 14:00 to 19:00, was watched (rating) by an average of 776 thousand viewers (15+). The entire election broadcast of this programme, including morning, afternoon and evening broadcasts, reached (reach) a total of 2.47 million viewers (15+). Events was the most watched news programme and the most watched programme of yesterday, with 1.19 million viewers on CT1 and CT24.
TV Nova's afternoon broadcast of Journey to the Castle, which aired from 13:00 to 19:30, was watched by an average of 331,000 viewers over 15 years of age. The total reach of the broadcast was 1.89 million viewers.
CNN Prima News' daytime broadcast of Finding the President reached almost one million viewers over 15 years of age (940 thousand). The afternoon continuous broadcast from 14:00 to 18:45 was watched (rating) by an average of 203 thousand viewers. The CNN Prima News station's all-day share reached an above-average 4.61% (15+) on Saturday.
