Three new prime time series, an entertainment show, a wedding reality show, a relationship talk show and a beauty queen election. This is the list of new shows of the Prima TV group for this years autumn season. Prima presented its autumn programming schedule at a press conference on Tuesday afternoon in the area of Prague's Hostivařská Dam. The upcoming programme was presented by CEO Marek Singer and programme director Roman Mrázek.
A new feature will be the twelve-part series Pálava (Monday), in which five friends will have an adventure among the vineyards in South Moravia. Pálava is a continuation of the Vinaři series and Bolek Polívka, Pavel Zedníček, Jaromír Dulava and Patrik Děrgel stars there.
The eight-part series Hořký svět (Wednesday), in which the protagonists try to start a family microbrewery, is also going on air. The main character finds himself in a life situation that leads him to a beer business. The audience will be introduced to Matouš Ruml, Nathanael Ruml, Berenika Kohoutová, Jakub Štáfek, Boleslav Polívka and Eva Holubová.
The audience will also see the Good News series (Wednesday after the end of the Bitter World) from the TV news environment. The main roles in the Good News series will be played by Natálie Halouzková and Vladimír Polívka. The series tells the story of a village girl who gets an internship in the imaginary newsroom of Good News.
New episodes of ZOO (Tuesdays, Thursdays), the most watched of TV Prima's original programmes in the first half of this year, will continue. On average, each episode was watched by 1.24 million viewers (15+, 31.13% share, source: ATO-Nielsen Admosphere). The new series of the shows Czech Slovakia's Got Talent (Saturday), We Like the Czech Republic (Friday), The Jan Kraus Show (Wednesday), 7 Falls of Honza Dědek (Tuesday) and Incognito (Thursday) will also be broadcast.
In addition, there will be new shows: My Man Can Do It (Můj muž to dokáže on Friday) and Day as a Dream (Den jak sen on Monday). My Man Can Do It is a licensed global entertainment show in which men perform bizarre tasks and their wives bet on their performance. In the Czech Republic, it will be hosted by the duo Adéla Gondíková and Ondřej Urban, with famous Czech and Slovak couples as contestants.
Day as a Dream is then a new docu-reality show that captures real weddings. Monika Absolonová will tell ten wedding stories and together with the crew will travel across the country. Sunday evening will be dedicated to Czech films.
The thematic channels of the Prima Group will bring, for example, the improvisation show K.o.mici, Miloš Pokorný's talk show Once You're Down, Once You're Up or the programme Bábovky a plechovky. The show Czech Miss Essens will also be broadcast. The new series Brickleberry on Prima Cool will also be a novelty. The CNN Prima News multiplatform will cover the Senate and autumn elections.
