Nova TV’s autumn programme schedule will undergo several changes compared to its current form. Nova relies on its original production and several new reality shows. It presented its autumn schedule at a press conference on Wednesday evening.
Nova is entering its autumn broadcasting without its flagship series Ordinace v růžové zahraně and Anatomie života. It will bring a new series Pan profesor (Thursday) set in a secondary school. It is a romantic story starring Vojtěch Dyk. The role of his colleague, a Czech teacher, will be played by Beáta Kaňoková.
Its new reality shows include Love Island (Wednesday, Sunday), in which ten women and men will spend three months together in a villa. Participants make couples during the competition, intrigue or form partnerships to become the final couple.
This autumn’s broadcasting will include new series of the dating show Married at First Sight (Saturday), the cooking reality show MasterChef (Tuesday, Monday) and a brand-new road show Souboj na talíři (Tuesday) featuring judges of MasterChef Česko: Radek Kašpárek, Jan Punčochář and Přemysl Forejt.
Czech viewers will have the first opportunity to watch a new quiz show The Chase in which contestants play against a professional quizzer. It will be broadcast daily (Monday to Friday), early in the evening from 5.30 pm. The show will be hosted by Ondřej Sokol.
Nova has prepared a new series of the musical talent show Pop Idol (Sunday). This season of the competition will be judged by Pavol Habera, Marián Čekovský, Leoš Mareš, Patricie Pagáčová and Monika Bagárová.
The TV series Specialisté (Monday) and Ulice (Monday to Friday from 6.30 pm) continue with their new episodes.
Nova also concentrates on the development of its video portal Voyo where it will offer new episodes of its TV series Ordinace v růžové zahradě 2 starting from this autumn. Love Island will also be available on Voyo. Work on other formats to be produced directly for this video portal is in progress.
