New series Vrazdy v kraji and Mozaika, new reality show Extremni promeny or entertainment show Hodne stesti!. In addition, the premiere episodes of Specialiste, Ulice, Pripady mimoradne Marty and the last series of Jedna rodina or the continuation of Survivor, Superlov and Vymena manzelek. These are some of the shows slated for spring broadcast on TV Nova in 2025. Nova unveiled the programming news at a press conference on Wednesday.
On the very first day of the new year, Nova will air another episode of its late-night series Ulice. From 5 January, the Sunday magazines - Lednicko, vypravej!, My, chalupari or Vase kouzelna zahrada - will start.
TV Nova news and premieres for spring 2025
- Vrazdy v kraji: Colonel Kučera decides to change his life from the ground up. He leaves his career in Prague to start a new life in the countryside and take up beekeeping. Ondřej Sokol stars in an uncharacteristic role as an elite investigator in this eight-part detective story. The cast also includes Petr Uhlík, Jana Pidrmanová, Petr Buchta, Václav Kopta, Jana Plodková, Tatjana Medvecká and others. Directed by Lenka Wimmerová, Tomáš Pavlíček. Ondřej Zima, Pavel Berčík. - Hodne stesti!: A new live entertainment show, prepared on the occasion of the 31st anniversary of TV Nova. Hosted by Aleš Háma and Ondřej Sokol. The show includes competitions for finance and prizes. It is a one-off show.
- Extremni promeny: A docudrama about a group of people struggling with obesity who are undergoing a lifestyle transformation. - Pripady mimoradne Marty 2. The eight-episode sequel to the crime-comedy series was made by the creative team behind the first series, led by directors Mark Najbrt and Tomáš Pavlíček. It was prepared by the production company Evolution Films (part of Film Kolektiv). The cast also includes Roman Zach, Jana Plodková, Anita Krausová, Jiří Svoboda, Táňa Melíková, Andrej Polák, Marek Daniel, Lucie Vondráčková and others.
- Specialiste: In spring 2025, Nova will launch the eleventh season of the detective series. The new series will feature actresses Patricie Pagáčová, Veronika Žilková, Milena Steinmasslová and actor Vojtěch Vodochodský, while the role of Zuzana Kajnarová has ended. - Survivor Czech Republic & Slovakia 2025. The contestants will face the challenges of 70 days on the island. The winner will receive a prize of 2.5 million EUR. CZK and a Suzuki A-Cross SUV.
- Vymena manzelek: The reality show, in which two women swap households for ten days, which they spend under the supervision of their new partner, has been filmed by television for twenty years. The new series will also offer foreign episodes.
